CHAPTER PROJECTS
MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY
On May 1, 2021, the Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and DKG-Maryland State presented a check for $2,350.00 to the Shepherd's Cove United Communities Against Poverty, Inc. (UCAP). These funds were given to the shelter in order for them to refurbish their facilities for the families they serve.
The sisters of Theta Chapter donated and collected these funds as one of their service projects for the 2020-2021 Biennium.

"DRESS FOR SUCCESS"
Saturday, March 20, 2021, members of DKG-Theta Chapters participated in collecting clothes and accessories for their yearly Community Outreach with The Training Source, Inc.

"WOMEN'S HEALTH FAIR"
Saturday, March 12, 2015, marked Theta Chapter's Bi-Annual Women's Health Symposium held at the Prince George's County Hospital. Over 100 women from all walks of life came to hear about Women's Issues. These women had the opportunity to have blood pressure checked, heart monitored, cholesterol and blood work, etc. Women received additional information on HIV/Aids. Chairpersons from the various medical departments of the hospital were available to talk with women about their concerns and issues.

TOYS FOR TOTS
Each Christmas holiday, Theta Chapter will donate toys for tots to the Hospital for Sick Children. During its holiday meeting, Theta members will bring brand new toys to be given to the Hospital for Sick Children for distribution.
