Welcome to Theta Chapter of DKG-Maryland, of Delta Kappa Gamma. It is located in the gorgeous Prince George's County, Maryland. Our members serve and live in Prince George's County, Montgomery County, and Washington, DC. Theta Chapter was organized and founded on April 26, 1952, as a division from Delta Chapter.

Theta Chapter members attend the DKG International Convention 

​All roads in Maryland led to the Gaylord at the National Harbor in Maryland.  
Members of Theta chapter arrived during the beginning of the week to participate in the activities, general meetings and spotlight sessions.  Theta members met up with other members from the State of Maryland chapters.  
On Wednesday, the chapter participated in the general meeting and during lunch, listened to Margot Shetterly, the author of "Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race". 
On Thursday, members attended the Northeast Regional Breakfast, led by the Carol Herzog, followed by the general meeting and spotlight sessions.  For dinner, Theta members met up with members of State of Maryland at the Cadillac Ranch restaurant.  What a good time we had!!! 
On Friday, members attended the general meeting and listened to Andre Bradford, the keynote speaker, during lunch.  Afterwards, members went to "The Marketplace" where they spent their money. 
On Saturday, members of Theta and the State of Maryland gathered in the "Celebration of Life" to honor the members who have passed away during biennium. Theta members honored Dr. Annette Stone Blake and Dr. Norma Moatof.  Later that evening, Theta members attended the DKG Society Dinner where they celebrated the week and danced the night away. 
Let's make plans to attend the 2026 convention at the Gaylord Rockies in Aurora, Colorado.
